Team Lead - Inventory Specialist

Position Type

This is a full time position may lead to a managerial position for the qualified individual.

Qualifications

Prior retail sales experience and managing a store/boutique. (1 year preferred)
Fluent in English. A plus if fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Key Accountabilities

Responsible of processing orders and Picker Packer duties
Receiving and distributing: Ensuring orders and delivered correctly and shipments are processed
Maintain leadership presence through effective inventory management and resource allocation
Maintain clear communication with the store manager, operations, and ordering team to ensure accurate and current inventory levels
Be results driven in achieving our store key performance indicators through training and development of our associates
Be operationally sound, opening/closing the store, inventory control, operational procedures
Follow company, safety, and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures
Develop and share ideas to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs
Support the team in the Picker Packer (e-commerce) training process, ensuring the highest level of client experience
Assist with physical maintenance of the store and back storage
Keyholder responsibilities for opening and closing the store.
Maintain and adhere to Store Operations Guide. Shifts may include an hour before or after store hours.
Tracking: Counting inventory to identify low or excess stock, and comparing counts with software to analyze changes
Analyzing: Inspecting products for damage or theft, and analyzing usage trends to set reorder levels
Reporting: Providing inventory control reports, and reporting issues with inventory management systems or employees to managers
Developing: Creating protocols to minimize loss and maximize efficiency, such as loss mitigation and visual merchandising practices
Collaborating: Working with the purchasing department to ensure timely delivery, and with other departments to ensure inventory is available for production and sales

Requirements

Excellent written and communication skills;
Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment;
Ability to analyze information, identify business priorities, and problem solve;
Previous experience in retail or other service-related industry is preferred;
Works with a high degree of integrity and strong ethic;
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
Experienced with technology to utilize internal retail systems and shipping software programs;
Familiarity with Shopify and back-end systems implementation;
Ability to meet physical requirements of the position including but not limited to climbing ladders, bending, lifting boxes
Flexible schedule, ability to work both weekdays or weekends (Not required but a plus)
Team player attitude.
