The Skincare Egg is a barrier-nourishing mixture of two Stratia moisturizers, Interface (the white) and Liquid Gold (the yolk). Both products serve to nourish your skin’s natural moisture barrier, but they use different mechanisms to do it, which makes them a powerful combo.

Interface is more of a long-term play. It contains encapsulated, targeted peptides that stimulate the production of certain key proteins in your skin. Those proteins strengthen your barrier from the inside. It can take a few weeks of daily use to see a difference, but it’s a difference that reaches deeper and lasts longer.

The exact ratio you use for your egg depends on your skin! If you’ve over-exfoliated and need some immediate repair, try an inverse egg: mostly yellow with a little white. If you’re looking for long-term barrier support, then the traditional egg ratio can give you deep, lasting moisture with a little extra barrier boost.

Cosrx Pimple Patches

When your moisture barrier is damaged, it makes it easier for bacteria to get in and harder for your skin to clear out dead skin cells, leading to clogged pores and breakouts. Despite all the newer US-based brands that have come out with pimple patches, I’m a die-hard Cosrx girl. They’re affordable and they work as well as or better than anything else I’ve tried.
