Social Media Coordinator

oo35mm a beauty and lifestyle boutique in New York City is looking for candidates to join our social media team. The ideal candidates must be a self-starter, highly organized, and detail oriented. You will have an eye for relevant, fast-moving social media trends, be up to date on cultural moments, and willing to be on camera, as needed, to create high quality content in real time. The Social Media Coordinator role is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days a week in oo35mm's NYC office.

Position Type

This is a full time position may lead to a managerial position for the qualified individual.

Qualifications

Prior social media and marketing experience. (2 year preferred)

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to execute on short-term and long-term strategy.
  • Ability to write, edit and proof-read quality written content. Expected to write social media copy and eCommerce copy.
  • Wear multiple hats, and be willing to jump in where needed.
  • Problem solving attitude.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Comfortable being on camera
  • Strong interest in skincare and makeup (Preferred)
  • Bonus: graphic design experience

Responsibilities

  • Plan and maintain social media calendar across all accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Poplive) with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, Poplive, and Pinterest.
  • Own the distribution of our social media content across multiple channels.
  • Work with our team to develop creative assets.
  • Develop innovative ideas to increase engagement on organic social channels.
  • Pitch new ideas and solutions to accelerate our growth on social and digital innovation
  • Community management across multiple social channels
  • Work closely with Influencer & Community team to highlight UGC and influencer content
  • Monitor and report on performance to make necessary changes to grow social media audience while maintaining brand identity

    Benefits:
    Salary (Min-Max): $45,000 - $60,000
